The main reason for the production of such devices was the use of more of these types of plates and their resistance to environmental conditions such as heat, humidity and pests (which caused a lot of damage to these types of plates daily).

Of course, today this discussion, that is, making the pages more resistant to environmental conditions, has become less colorful and more attention is paid to its appearance and luxury. But the only reason for the sticky edge can be called page reinforcement.

As you know, these plates react to the heat and humidity of the environment after cutting and change shape from the edge. Also, when using them, for example in office or home environments, this becomes a big problem and causes user dissatisfaction. But with the passage of time and the advancement of technology, this issue has taken on a different color and has created a great change.

Our country’s industry is no exception to this and got involved in this issue with a little delay. At first, adhesive tape or so-called ironing tape entered the Iranian market and manufacturers tried to produce their products using basic tools such as ironing, but this caused many problems and the desired quality was not achieved.

Over time, several machines were donated to this industry, which made the work much easier and increased the production volume, but still, due to re-heating the parts in different environments, the desired quality was not achieved and these strips were gradually separated from the edges of the plates.
